The Argentinian midfielder of Napoli, Ezequiel Lavezzi, today officially pledged in favor of PSG. The contract is for four years and the transfer fee estimated at € 26M.
Paris Saint-Germain is holding its first major summer signing. This is, as expected from Ezequiel Lavezzi, the excellent midfielder Naples. At 27, the Argentine international has signed a four-year lease with the club in the French capital, becoming the third most expensive reinforcement of its history (behind Nicolas Anelka and Javier Pastore). To afford the services of this brilliant talent, and cut, at the same time, the grass under the feet of competition, the second of last year in Ligue 1 had to pay, indeed, a mere $ 27 M €.
Lavezzi’s coming to PSG is the realization of a long and mutual interest. By the end of the previous season, the leaders in Paris, and headed Leonardo, had made him THE priority in recruitment. For its part, the player appeared immediately captivated by the Parisian project, despite solicitations from other prestigious clubs. Inter Milan had also done the forcing to get him in Lombardy, but the person concerned, formed the Boca Juniors, had given his word to the French team and he complied.
By signing Lavezzi from the day of the resumption of training, PSG undoubtedly strikes a big deal and its ambitions for the next campaign. Much like they did last year with Pastore, Ile-makers demonstrated that they could afford to attract the best players in the Calcio. Author of 47 achievements in 178 games played with Naples in the last five seasons, the Villa Gobernador Gálvez native will in all likelihood, make a big key technical and experience in training who do not really missing. His debut in Ligue 1 are scheduled Aug. 11 next to the Parc des Princes against Lorient.
With this new acquisition of renown, the size of Paris is starting to look great. Nevertheless, it is clear that with Lavezzi, there will be overcrowding in the offensive first team. Thus, it is likely that a player in its register will be released by Leonardo and his followers to make way for the international albiceleste. The element that is most likely to “jump” is the Brazilian Nene. Despite two good seasons achieved on the side of the capital, it would no longer be part of the plans of the leaders. His next point drop could be on the side of Lille.
